The Selwyn Foundation recognises the value of research to improve outcomes for older people. It has a history of supporting research and encourages researchers to employ a range of methods to address questions which are concerned with the wellbeing of older people. It is the role of The Selwyn Institute to acquire knowledge relating to the ageing and wellbeing of older people. Keeping abreast of global trends, new research and international experience and relating these to the New Zealand environment.
