Covid-19 Contact Tracing

Covid-19 August 2020 Auckland Cluster - Linked Locations

The following information is related to the Auckland outbreak of Covid-19 in August 2020. Although this information is based on the government’s Covid-19 briefings it is intended for Selwyn staff and not the general public.

You would have seen from the news, the list of locations, schools and workplaces identified where people who have recently contracted COVID-19 have either worked or attended, continues to grow. We want to keep you completely up-to-date with the latest additions to this list.

This will enable you to alert your manager if you, your dependants or anyone who is living with you has worked, attended, recently visited or had close contact with these locations or with people located there.

To make this easy for you, we have posted a comprehensive list of these locations below and on the intranet.

If you have attended one of the listed ‘at risk’ locations and your manager advises you that you need to leave the workplace in order for you to be tested, you will be placed on discretionary leave until you have received a negative test and are symptom-free. Your sick leave will not be affected.

Please also see the information in regards to contact tracing - click here.

The Ministry of Health also now has a list of locations on their website.

Any questions or concerns, please raise with your manager or phone the staff support line 0800 545 353.

For the latest information please check the MOH website.
