Experiencing the Worlds of Wellbeing & Spirituality in Aotearoa New Zealand.

16 August 2019 - Selwyn Heights

The University of Auckland, The Selwyn Foundation and Mercy Hospice are proud to host academic, author and visiting Seelye Fellow Professor Holly Nelson-Becker to New Zealand.

As well as her own insights, speakers from Aotearoa New Zealand will contribute to painting a local picture of Hauora/Wellbeing, Wairua/Spirituality and End of Life Preparation. Particularly in how our experiences connect with the rest of the world.

A growing number of academics and professionals in Aotearoa/New Zealand have actively explored, and established, the connection between the ageing, wellbeing and spirituality. These initiatives have included research, knowledge and information sharing, thought leadership, issue management and development of policy parameters to drive the agenda of establishing national guidelines. The Leaders’ Day will further drive and define the journey and agenda.
