This Awakening the Sage Within seminar opens opportunities to improve the second half of life –not by pretending we are not growing older, but by recognising the value we offer as elders, and responding in practical, positive ways to the changes in our lives.
We "harvest" from life experience which leads to further growth and the opportunity to live more compassionately and joyful.
During these interactive workshop sessions, Caroline Leys and David Chaloner will introduce Sage-ing concepts including life review, forgiveness work and issues surrounding mortality. We will explore images of ageing and the role of spiritual development in the capstone chapter of life. Finally, we will begin development of a personalized plan for our own eldering, including service to others and leaving a legacy.
Sage-ing programmes are not specific to any religious denomination and serve to enhance spiritual maturity for persons who embrace any faith or humanistic practice. www.sage-ing.org
