The Bishop Buckle hospital wing was opened in 2009, providing a state-of-the-art, 27-bed facility

Facilities 
  • a private phone may be installed in any room
  • newspapers can be delivered on request
  • appointments with the¬†hairdresser, podiatrist, physiotherapist, hearing aid specialist, dentist, optician or doctor can be arranged via the receptionist
  • shopping can be organised via the small convenience shop at Selwyn Park
  • special diets and appetites are catered for; if guests visit for lunch or dinner, they are very welcome
  • the hospital is fitted with smoke detectors and sprinklers
  • laundry is washed on site
  • the village chaplain visits regularly and is available for counselling and support
Activities 

Selwyn Park offers specialised activities for all resident's enjoyment and well-being. These include;
