From November 2017, Selwyn Oaks will offer residents an extensive range of first-class facilities. You may wish to join in the activities on site and play a full part in village life. There will be plenty to keep you busy, with outings and entertainment also arranged for your enjoyment.

From 2017, Selwyn Oak's will offer resident's an extensive range of first-class leisure facilities located on the ground floor of The Lees Centre, including;

  • a resident's lounge next to chapel
  • multipurpose room for exercises, movies, hobby, performances and celebrations
  • crafts/activities room with its own kitchenette
  • cafe and bar
  • outdoor bbq area, with access from the cafe
  • professional kitchen to support the cafe and dining areas
  • consulting room
  • shop (dairy/mini-mart)
  • hair salon
Services and activities:
  • weekly worship services
  • regular organised trips
  • close relationships with community groups such as RSA, local churches, Probus, U3A and sports clubs
  • regular ‘happy hours’
  • garden walks
  • trips and activities
  • minibus transport to shops
Optional services available for purchase include:

  • a doctor, a chiropodist and lab services visit regularly

Chapel services

Eucharist is 10am Sunday, in Selwyn Oaks main lounge.

From November 2017 this service will be offered in the new Chapel in the Lees Centre.
